Segundo as informa\u00e7\u00f5es apuradas, o condutor do ve\u00edculo n\u00e3o teve tempo h\u00e1bil para dar marcha \u00e0 r\u00e9 e acabou sendo atingido pela primeira locomotiva que compunham o trem. Com o impacto, o carro sofreu danos significativos na parte frontal. Quando os agentes da empresa Rumo, respons\u00e1vel pela opera\u00e7\u00e3o ferrovi\u00e1ria, chegaram ao local, o motorista da Scenic j\u00e1 havia deixado a \u00e1rea do acidente.
